Terms & Conditions

Getting a quote

Ideally 6 months before your big day is ideal.  However we do realise that some dates are busier than others so any time is fine before then, please note that your booking is NOT confirmed until we have given written confirmation and the deposit is received. 

Deposit and Payment Terms

To confirm your booking we require 30% deposit.  This deposit is non refundable.  Written confirmation from us of your deposit secures your position in our books. 

By paying your deposit, you agree to adhere to the following Terms and Conditions.

When your function is confirmed, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required to hold your date. This amount is based on your initial accepted quote.

Final number of people needs to be confirmed no less than 30 days prior to your event. At this point a second invoice will be issued to reflect the final numbers.

Please advise of any guest food allergies/special requirements at least 14 days prior to your event, any changes on the day or within the 14 day period cannot be guaranteed and an administration surcharge will be added. It is YOUR responsibility to supply Morsel with dietary requirements.

Payment in full is required before your event date.

In the event of unforeseen time delays from you, the client, which require our staff to work over-time on the event day, we reserve the right to invoice you for these hours.

Morsel reserves the right to invoice you for any breakages, loss or theft of equipment by yourselves or attendees at the event.


Force majeure:

(a) For the purposes of this Contract, Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of Artichoke Ltd including but not limited to natural disasters, acts taken by Governments, strikes or other industrial disputes (whether involving the workforce of Artichoke Ltd or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, fire, flood or storm.

(b) Artichoke Ltd shall not be liable to the Customer as a result of any failure to perform its obligations under this Contract as a result of a Force Majeure Event.

(c) If the Force Majeure Event prevents Artichoke Ltd from providing the Catering on the Date, Artichoke Ltd shall, without limiting its other rights extend a 12 month maximum postponement period. The Customer may change the date and/or venue once within this timeframe. Failure to do so may result in extra charges to reflect Artichoke Ltd’s current pricing.

Extra Charges:

(a) Appointments & consults/tastings: Tastings are offered free for up to

two people upon confirmation of bookings over 100 people. For bookings under 100 people or if you wish to have a tasting before paying the deposit there is a $150pp.

Final Payment is payable by internet banking to account or by credit card. If payment is made by Credit Card there will be a 3% charge to do so. The Customer is liable for any international payment fees. Payment implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
